In the beginning…
When Madeline Hill made the commitment to create Mountain Meadows, her decision was based on a long and dedicated history in social services. Madeline played a key role in creating the project that became the Oregon
Model of Long Term Care, now used by Congress and other state governments. For 11 years, she served as regional manager of the Oregon State Senior Services Division. During her years in social services, Madeline became dedicated to the idea of a very special kind of senior community. That’s how the dream that become Mountain Meadows began.
Imagine, for a a moment, that you own your own single-family or condominium home in a thoughtfully designed and solidly built retirement community with spectacular views in Ashland, Oregon. Your neighbors are bright, active, caring people. You spend your days strolling in the private park or taking part in many other pleasurable activities both on and around the campus. You’re secure. And you’re happy.
In 1989, Madeline Hill founded Mountain Meadows, a 21+ acre retirement community in Ashland. You’ll now find lovely craftsman-style homes, hillside and creekside condominiums, spacious apartments, and so many other features. But, most importantly, you’ll experience the spirit and energy that Madeline was determined to bring to reality.
The next chapter of Mountain Meadows Realty began on October 1, 2022, when the real estate company was sold to David Wright, Principal Broker/Owner of RE/MAX PLATINUM in Medford. David knows the community quite well as he also operates a management company which is on-site in the community clubhouse. David grew up in Ashland and he understands the needs of seniors. Now, along with the customer service and individual assistance you have always received from Mountain Meadows realty, you also have the powerful backing of RE/MAX, one of the largest real estate corporations in the world. RE/MAX, recognized by the large red/white/blue balloon logo, is known to most all of us.
