What is the award?

The Best Small Retirement Community in America from the National Council on Seniors Housing.

What is NCOSH?

The National council on Seniors Housing (NCOSH) is an arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) located in Washington D.C.

Why is it prestigious?

The awards program represents only established, high quality projects throughout the nation. The program is highly competitive and well recognized. Awards are bestowed only on projects meeting all criteria.

What are the criteria?

The review board looks at all elements of submissions including operational plans, financial success, marketing programs, site plans, architecture and interior design.

Who judges it?

An annual panel of judges is chosen. Represented are accomplished architects, professors, gerontologists, community managers and marketing specialists from across the nation. They are the professionals most knowledgeable about senior housing.
